Today is Saturday and even though the sun isn't shining, it's still not too cold outside. I was energetic; I raked 4 bags of leaves and took most of the fallen willow branches to the back burn barrel. Lee will burn them later.

Lee will be working in the garage today. He's gotten a few orders for furniture and he wants to get them done. Also, he's gotten a couple little side jobs. I don't know how he feels but I'm really excited about it.

I've gotten a little side job too. I'll be working with Colleen (Lee's best friend) and doing some data entry until this one particular project is done.

More good news; Melanie got a job at McDonalds. How cool is that? And tomorrow she is modelling in a store fashion show. She's got so much fun stuff going on for her. I'm so grateful.

Jakey is crawling all over the place and is so cute.

Starting today...

starting today, I will log some of my life story in this blog. I guess most people won't want to read about my life. But I think in years to come, I will love to look back at this and see how things have changed.

Let me introduce myself: My name is Laurie. My hubby is Lee and I have a 15 yr old girl, Melanie and an 9mth boy, Jake.

We live a very quiet life with our dog and two cats in our little house outside of a larger town, outside of a major city. In our little town, we have no buses or stores (although rumour has it we are getting a store)

I hope as I write more, people will want to read about my life and see my pictures (which I have not posted yet)
